You can help your child settle down in the morning , ready for a day of learning, by getting them involved, talking and having fun in one of our areas.

This week we have started reading the story of “Golilocks and the three bears”. Ask your child to retell the story!

Today in Rainbow talk we have made porridge for Goldilocks. We have smelled, tasted and touched the porridge then discussed it together.

Arms high, arms low… Roll the ball to…Mrs.Wright! She is helping us remember our peers’ name through song.

Today we have started learning about crocodile grip, mark making and practising our first names.

Rainbow talk

Today we introduce the jewels to ‘Rainbow talk’. 

Rainbow talk is used to develop children’s thinking and speaking. We used different types of apples to explore and talk about.

Lots of children talked about how the apples felt ‘cold’ and tasted ‘juicy’. 

Why not practise the Rainbow song at home.
